There is something to be said for endurance and sticking too it. This is the longest job I have held. 16 and a half months. I am in the toddler stage of my career which means toddler treatment.
This morning I wake up with the usual morning rush. Searching for socks. Packing lunches or dispensing lunch money. I made the boys waffles with bananas and felt the badge of a good mom. I walked into work to see the office birthday cake they purchased for me still sitting out. I barked some expletives at it and threw it in the trash.
