Weekend 2 of Limited License X-ray School.  Yay after the safety education is done we get to start zapping some feet (of course with our instructors/Doctors present).

My online Art class started also.  I imagined this being a piece of cake since I love art and can sit there and describe it for hours.  Let’s hope he does not busy work us to death.  Got my book this morning at the discount price of $80.81.  Expletive, expletive.  Then I put the rest of the few dollars I had in the gas tank.  $4.17 a gallon.  Come on FAFSA!  Gimme some money!

Did I mention I saw Indiana Jones this weekend?  Yup and Harrison Ford is still HAWT.

The opening scene with his silhouette and

The damn hat.

Sunday afternoon Horchata and I took the boys to see, religiously “Anti-God” branded

The Golden Compass

There was a lot upset about Harry Potter early on as well. I get worrisome when a large group tries to ban a movie like this. Book burning and witch hunts next? I think my children have strong enough beliefs not to turn into atheists after watching one movie. The genre is fantasy and reminds me of splashes of Lord of the Rings, and Narnia. I think it has a positive message about questioning authority and the importance of being a free thinker. I am looking forward to a time when we can all

Jonesing for the New Jones

Since the abolishment of our cable tv devices, the Bones’  have been watching a lot of movies. A couple weekends ago we held a 3  generation Indiana Jones film fest in our living room. We’re Star Wars geeks (like most people our age) an aliment our offspring undoubtedly inherited.  Ah, we just love some Harrison Ford in this house.  He’s a brilliant actor, completely hot with his one-sided grin,  an ultimate charming action hero.  It sure was fun watching these movies with the boys for the first time.  Last weekend after Horchata’s Music show we walked around Hollywood.  We went to Mann’s Chinese and put our feet in Harrison’s hallowed cement steps.

There have been rumors about a fourth Indy Movie for years and I have payed little attention to them.  However, after seeing photos and magazines and an official link on IMDB.com Fourth Installment of the Indiana Jones Adventures , I must say I am pretty darn excited.  And they’re bringing back Karen Allen from Raiders of the Lost Ark!!!  She was my favorite, the spunky, brunette bar owner who could drink anyone under the table.  Just the theme music makes me happy.  If you share my enthusiam you might want to check out this site IndianaJones.com.  I love you INDY!
